This little guy had the BEST first birthday party.
His parents decked out a party room in a high-rise on Brickell Ave. in Miami. When I walked through the door, I was smacked (lovingly!) in the face with the most delicious smell of chocolate and caramel.
There was a large table full of goodies: Cake balls, Rice Krispie squares (some had my photos on them!), cupcakes, cookies iced in white, black and gold, chocolate covered strawberries dressed in tuxedos, chocolate covered Oreos topped with chocolate-shaped top hats and bowties and of course, the actual birthday cake!
The kids had a giant ball pit to play in and soft shapes to climb on, and the adults had fun with the photo backdrop (and the bubbly drink bar).
It was awesome. See for yourself...Read More
When his mother asked if I could do a shoot for their family with some of their good friends, I was psyched.
We spent a bit of time at a local park and I had so much fun. This was my first time photographing the Rand family, and they were wonderful. Rachael’s sister even came to help with clothing changes, cranky moments, etc. (Thank you again, Jen!)
It was so nice to spend time with these families. And I’m looking forward to (hopefully) many more shoots with both, and watching Caleb and Shayna grow up.Read More
When I was younger, my dream was to work as a newspaper photographer. In 2011, after graduating from Western Kentucky University with a photojournalism degree, I landed my dream job at The Roanoke Times in Virginia, where I spent my days documenting the lives of the people who lived in the community that I fell in love with.
But after several years of school and work, I found I was missing my family more and more. And I began to realize that I could take my camera anywhere. So my husband and I moved back to where I grew up…sunny South Florida!
Side note… My husband, Ryan Stone, is also a photographer…we met in the photo program at WKU. This business started under the name “Ryan & Becca Photography” several years ago, since we photographed everything together. But as Ryan becomes busier and busier freelancing for clients including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Venice Magazine and more, it’s time for a new name.
Don’t worry…Ryan has not been kicked out! He will still be available to assist from time-to-time.
But lifestyle photography…photographing people and moments, is my true love.

(By the way...The "B" in "Rebecca B. Photography" comes from my maiden name, Barnett.)
Caleb is six-months old! Time flies. It was fun spending time shooting at a local park. And Caleb was a trooper with this South Florida humidity!Read More
